Facilitator’s Course: Team Dynamics Training

Since the publication of Own Your Armor, coaches have asked me, “Do you have a slide deck of the images in the book that I can use to teach my clients about team dynamics?” In response, I’ve created a Facilitators Course that gives registrants access to a ready-to-deliver workshop for teams using the Own Your Armor principles and illustrations.

  • • Access to use of a fully prepared workshop on team dynamics that can be used to educate teams and build interest in follow-on work with their coach to resolve team culture challenges

Mastermind program in “Interactional Coaching”

Coaches trained to do individual coaching sometimes face the request to “coach two of my leaders who don’t get along” as if they have two coaching clients. But in fact, it is one client system - that requires an understanding of the complexity of interactional dynamics - or the coaching approach will fail.

Just as individual therapists get additional training to be qualified to work with couples, training in interactional coaching opens a much wider range of practice for coaches and facilitators. The Own Your Armor Mastermind Group is a training for experienced coaches who want to expand their skills in working with interactional systems: conflict mediation, systems coaching of colleague “pairs” and cross-functional team challenges.

  • • Expert training in “pairs” coaching, using real examples of leaders in conflict. Practice a proven protocol for facilitating interactional coaching in all of its applications.

    • Themes addressed: restoring trust where there is mistrust, dealing with defensiveness to feedback, how to work with multi-focal empathy for both members of the conflict.
